#90Minutes Roundup Saturday 24th October

Albert ADU scored twice as WARE moved into fourth place in Isthmian League Division One South Central after a 4-1 win at South Park. Things didn’t start well for Paul Halsey’s team Bas Savage putting the home side in front after 22 minutes. The lead only lasted 11 minutes before Albert ADU pulled Ware level Leigh ROSE then scored his third of the season three minutes from the break to send the visitors 2-1 up at half time. Further goals from Adu after 63 minutes and a first league goal for Devonte SIMMS in the 90th minute completed Ware’s second league win of the week.

It was a tough afternoon for HERTFORD TOWN at Chertsey as the home side ran out 4-1 winners. Jake Baxter gave the home side the lead after 16 minutes Sam FANIYAN pulling Hertford level 10 minutes later. Magnus Abisogun restored the home sides advantage after 32 minutes second half goals from Scott Day and Jake Baxter sealing the points for Chertsey.

WELWYN GARDEN CITY started well in our #90MinutesLive game against Kempston Rovers at the Utilita Stadium, Jack VEYSEY giving the Citizens the lead after only six minutes. The visitors though gradually worked their way into the match and were unlucky not to equalise when Robbie Goodmans shot cannoned off the underside of the crossbar. Kempston were level four minutes into the second half when Jordan Slama headed Ricardo Greens cross past Charlie Crowley. Both teams had the chance to take home all three points in the dying minutes Crowley saving superbly from Alfie Powell at one end while Thomas Opoku skied the ball over the top from six yards at the other.

In the Essex Senior League Harrison ROOKARD and Harry ANDIC scored the goals as HODDESDON TOWN went fifth in the table after a 2-0 win at SAWBRIDGEWORTH. In the days other game ST MARGARETSBURY were beaten 5-0 at Takeley.

Skipper Alfie ARNOLD was the hero in the Hertford and District League’s match of the day as WESTMILL went to the top of the Premier Division after a 1-0 win over this mornings leaders Mill Lane.
